Maeve Hanan, UK Registered Dietitian

Maeve Hanan graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Dietetics from the University of Ulster Coleraine (Northern Ireland) in 2013.

As a UK Registered Dietitian, Maeve worked in the NHS for over four years to gain a variety of clinical experience. This includes: infant and childhood nutrition, nutrition for older people, food allergies, eating disorders, weight management, diabetes, stroke, and gastrointestinal conditions.

She is currently working as a Health Writer for reputable magazines and blogs, and she also provides nutrition consultancy services.

Maeve is really passionate about her blog, which promotes evidence-based nutrition and fights nutritional nonsense.

How does Maeve make health a priority?
"I try to include a good variety of food in my diet, including lots of plant-based foods, so that I have a tasty and balanced intake overall. I also aim to exercise in a way that I enjoy every day - such as practicing yoga, walking, running and the occasional HIIT workout. Prioritising relaxation and mindfulness is also important for me."
