Biography

Jay hails from Brisbane, Australia, where she lives with her 2 kids and dog. She is the Head of Mindset for Diet vs Disease. Her career journey began as an accredited social worker in demanding settings such as corrections, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and Indigenous mental health. However, she ultimately discovered her true passion in psychotherapy, specializing in clients struggling with digestive health disorders. Jay is deeply passionate about the transformative potential of a holistic approach that integrates talk therapy, hypnotherapy, nervous system and EMDR to support to positively impact the intricate connection between the gut and the brain.

“Health to me means looking after myself holistically – mind and body. I eat a balanced diet and love to keep exercise fun – so you’ll find me riding my bike or hiking with friends. I feel my best when I meditate daily, hold true to my boundaries and practice self-care and self-compassion.”
