Biography
Marie is based in the Ohio with her husband, son, and their dog. She started her career as a Food Scientist and was inspired to go back to school to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist after experiencing her own gut health challenges.
Prior to Diet vs Disease, Marie was working as a clinical dietitian in functional and integrative medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. She has also spent time working as a fitness instructor and health coach – she loves to integrate her experiences from all of these roles into her approach with clients.
She specializes in food allergies and sensitivities, along with digestive conditions and diseases, including but not limited to GERD, SIBO, IBS, and IBD. She aims to help all her clients live their healthiest and happiest lives by supporting them in improving their digestive health. She focuses on empowering clients through knowledge, guidance, and habit-building to support their personalized needs and goals.
Outside of work, Marie enjoys playing tennis (she’s not that great at it but loves it!), taking family hikes, walking to the beach, and really anything that means spending time in nature.
