I'm one of a group of folks extremely intolerant of maltodextrin. About 2005 I started having uncontrollable diarrhea, was unable to exercise and had to figure out what was causing my issues. I thought it was gluten but it wasn't simply gluten. I isolated it to maltodextrin, tried and true. There is no question about it. Research was done by Cleveland Clinic & U of Michigan and showed that there were issues. I ran a group for a while for folks with maltodextrin intolerances and there were plenty of folks. I sure hope that maltodextrin, a heavily chemical processed filler is recognized as chemically treated, not too different than bleached flour, bleached sugar, or bleached wheat. Maltodextrin is a money-saver and a profit-maker so it's golden to food manufacturers.

I just checked my bag of Aldi’s Stevia. Diabetics buy it to enjoy a natural no sugar sweetener. But the top ingredient listed was “Maltodextrin”, so actually the Aldi’s Stevia is hacking up their blood sugar worse than table sugar. The gall, hypocrisy, maliciousness, deception and treachery to allow this situation is is stunningly off the charts.

If you are diabetic, don't use VIVISCAL. It jacked my blood sugar UP to 300. Shame on throwing a product our way that jacks blood sugar levels to extremes! This product needs to be tested by the FDA before being marketed. Not Safe!
