My MVCs have been hx v small, ferritin low (3-9) and I found a bio avail iron+ supplement, w B12, and recommended amount is 1 pill, I must take three daily to sustain a decent ferritin level....my B12 is 1,600. We check my iron panel Q3-6 months to ensure I am not OD on Fe.... My provider said to start on Methyl Folate 5mg...I order two bottles: one with 1,000mg and one with 1,700mg..... I m reading others w pos MTHFR (apparently there are two variations? I will need to see which one/s I have).

Hashimotos around age 34. Intermittent depression, brain fog at 38 and late life ADHD formal dx age 39....could have really used and formal dx for ADHD MUCH earlier in my life. Last year, sleep issues very severe, and post exertion malaise. I lift and work out 3-6 days a week, eat macro balanced, and some weeks I can only go like 1 time a week due to fatigue, most months, 4-6 feels amazing and clearer mentation as well...can MTHFR fluctuate impact? 

I have plenty of B12, I am wondering if starting on 1.7 g is a horrible idea? I feel fatigued, so many symptoms , apparently this is related to the ferritin anemia issues as well? (my iron is solid, and my H&#038;H are just above WNL) and I want to improve. Is methyl folate something that a loading dose would be a good idea with? considering it is excreted in urine?

Very interested in learning more.]]></description>
