Every living thing creature in the wilds will fast when sick or is injured. It has never been proven that anyone died as a result of fasting. True some people fasted to the point of starvation and then died. It wasn&#039;t the fasting that killed them it was when they fasted beyond the fasting state and entered the starvation state. 

Most experts agree most people can safely fast for at a minimum 10 days and many can fast for forty days as did the Hebrew prophets of the old testament including Jesus Christ with no harmful effects and may be the reason they lived so long.

I myself have fasted numerous times on water alone. Some of my fast have been for thirty days and some for thirteen days but with no ill effects and people all remark that I don&#039;t look anywhere near my 75 years.  In my experience I think a ten day fast done twice a year would be all that is necessary to live practically disease free and I expect to live well pass 100 years. Why? Because all disease is a result of autotoxemia. the body only gets disease when it becomes acid brought on by too many toxins . Fasting is the best body detox there is. Its really simple keep the body clean and disease will stay away.]]></description>
