About how fast does uric acid accumulate in your bloodstream once you have your first Gout attack?

I just got diagnosed with it last week. Hurt like hell. I'm on Tart Cherry/Celery Seed supplements as well as Allopurinol. When used in combination, do those things merely slow any uric acid you accumulate if you're unable to change diet right away? Or can they halt or even still lower it?

Eliminate from your diet until the day you die; mango, tomato, all beans, octopus, conch fish, lobster, shrimp, red fishes, cow meat, all forma of intestinal kidney liver heart brains of animals, and if you are going to consume alcahol, only wine and whiskey. Eat drumsticks and wings from the chicken not the breast. Stick to chicken and white fish. All the water your body can intake. I suffer from gout for 15 years and these are the rules. Pig is ok once every full moon.
