The first if this year I had a stone formed in my bile duct which was remove and it was a mess with some sepsis.. They cleared the duct and put a drainage item to allow. 3mos later they went to and removed the drain. I have IBS so as you can imagine this whole thing caused a flare. Even had a bout with jaunice after the first procedure.. It is four months or so later and I have these. (Biliary colic) That feel as uncomfortable and painful.. Could you explain what is happening and as I feel like I have another stone..It get so accute and painful.. Any insight and suggestion would be apprecited.

I have recently got my gallbladder removed. For about a week after the surgery had problems with loose motion. Strictly followed vegeterian diet of low oil, less spice and small meals with intermittent snacking of high fiber salads and fruits helped me to regularise my bowel movements.

Hi Jenny, sounds like you’re doing great. The way people react to high fiber diets does seem to vary. A high fiber diet is not the best for a lot of people especially after major surgery like that.

Steamed Veg’s steamed fish, skim milk low fat breads, chicken soup (No noodles) Chinese dishes,dried fruit and fresh fruit, nuts(hand full)

Try very small meals such as rice and chicken, steamed veggies, steamed fruit, etc. Go slow and fill in with a supplement drink to boost nutrition. Good luck…it gets better with time.
