This explains why. For the first time in 10 years since I was diagnosed with IBS and labeled as picky eater by the society, I saw myself in this blog post. Reading this feels like I am talking to myself with the right information. This validates everything I feel and corrects my wrong habits. Much appreciated for writing something like this, Joe.

Hi Joe,
So my issue isn't chronic diarrhea but what I have are incomplete bowel movements and I can struggle all day with a feeling of needing to have a bowel movement and sometimes I will have multiple bowel movements that are normal, not watery. But that still has a great impact on my life! When I don't have a bowel movement all day I actually feel really good! I am not experiencing the spasms or sensation of needing to go or going multiple times throughout the day, so Ii am relaxed and feel great eating. Just curious what your thoughts are on this type of bowel situation and oh, I have been tested for SIBO and do have it. Also had a huge stomach surgery 2 years ago, where I had a stomach ulcer perforate my small intestine, so lots of work done inside and lost my gall bladder. Thanks for your thoughts!!
